ഇന്ത്യൻ ജനത ഒന്നടങ്കം നെഞ്ചിലേറ്റിയ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു ഉറി ദി സർജിക്കൽ സ്ട്രൈക്ക്. വിക്കി കൗശൽ കേന്ദ്രകഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ചിത്രം ബോളിവുഡിൽ മാത്രമല്ല മറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭാഷകളിലും മികച്ച പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. ചിത്രം പുറത്തെത്തി ഒരു കൊല്ലം പിന്നിടുകയാണ്. സിനിമയുടെ ആദ്യ വാർഷികദിനത്തിൽ നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളെ കുറിച്ച് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ് താരം. ഇൻസ്റ്റഗ്രാമിലൂടെയായിരുന്നു നടന്റെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തൽ.

അതീവ സമ്മർദ്ദത്തിലൂടെയാണ് ചിത്രം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയത്. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ വിജയം കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ വിജയം കൂടിയാണെന്നും വിക്കി കുറിച്ചു. താരത്തിന്റെ ഇൻസ്റ്റഗ്രാം പോസ്റ്റ് ഇങ്ങനെ: എത്ര വേഗത്തിലാണ് ഒരു വർഷം കടന്നു പോയത്. ഷൂട്ടിങ് തുടങ്ങാൻ ഒരാഴ്ച മാത്രം അവശേഷിക്കെ ഓഫീസ് ബാൽക്കണിയിൽ ഇരുന്ന് സിനിമ ചെയ്യണോ വേണ്ടയോ എന്ന് ആലോചിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതികഠിനമായ ഫിസിക്കൽ ട്രെയിനിങ്ങാണ് ചിത്രത്തിനായി എടുത്തത്. കഥാപാത്രം അത്രയധികം മികച്ചതാക്കണം എന്നുള്ള ആഗ്രഹമുള്ളതിനാൽ കഠിനമായ വ്യായായമ മുറുകൾ പോലും അത്ര കാര്യമായി എടുത്തിരുന്നില്ല. താൻ മാത്രമല്ല സഹതാരങ്ങളും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ സ്വഭാവികതയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി യാമി തന്റെ നീളമള്ള മുടി മുറിച്ചിരുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ലുക്ക് പുറത്തു പോകാതിരിക്കാൻ മറ്റ് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പോലും ഇവർ ഒഴിവാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

അവസാന നിമിഷം ലിനിയുടെ ഓർമയിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞ ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അലട്ടിയിരുന്നു!! അവർ കടന്നു പോയത് വല്ലാത്ത ഒരു അവസ്ഥയിലൂടെ...ലിനി ആകാൻ വേണ്ടി എടുത്ത തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിനെ കുറിച്ച് റിമ

ഷൂട്ടിങ്ങിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഒരു സംഘം ആളുകൾ സെർബിയയിലേയ്ക്ക് തിരിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ആരാണ്, സൈനിക മേധാവി ആരാണെന്നുളള കാര്യത്തിൽ പോലും ഒരു തീരുമാനമായിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു. അത്രയധികം പ്രതിബന്ധങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒടുവിൽ ഉറി എങ്ങനെ പൂർത്തിയായി എന്നുള്ള ഇപ്പോഴും വിശ്വക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ലെന്നും വിക്കി പറയുന്നു. ഉറി ഇരു കൈകളും നീട്ടി സ്വീകരിച്ച പ്രേക്ഷകരോട് ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ നന്ദിയുണ്ട്.രാജ്യത്തിനായി ഓരോ ദിവസവും ത്യാഗം സഹിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ സൈനികരുടെ കുടുംബാങ്ങളോട് ഉറി ടീം കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു- വിക്കി ഇൻസ്റ്റഗ്രാമിൽ കുറിച്ചു

The best Roller Coster ride I will ever be on! ❤️❤️❤️ Exactly a week before the shoot (2nd June 2018) we were sitting at our office balcony and waiting for a final call on ‘if URI is happening or not’. I still remember how tense and stressed everyone was and how desperately we were making efforts to somehow cut costs. @vickykaushal09, @merainna and 20 other actors had already gone through one of the most rigorous physical trainings ever for a film. Also on that day, without even questioning me once @yamigautam cut her hair short for the film, which was pretty incredible considering she had to let go of other projects because of her new look. We were making an action film and We didn’t have an action director by then. Part of my team had already left for Serbia. We had already spent a lot of money on preproduction. And we didn’t have actors to play some of the most important roles including the PM and Army General. It was a complete mess but somewhere deep down we all knew this film needs to be made, has to be made no matter what! And it was made and HOW!!😁 Thank you each and everyone of you who showered URI with so much love and affection!! It was truly overwhelming to see people crying, laughing, clapping, whistling basically thoroughly enjoying each and every moment of the film. Trust me those memories are going to stay with me forever.
