Blast Box Office Collection Day 21: Arjun's Film Nears ₹50 Crore India Net, Crosses ₹70 Crore Worldwide

Blast Box Office Collection: The theatrical run of Blast continued in its third week, with the Tamil martial arts thriller adding another day of earnings to its overall box office tally. Starring Arjun, Abhirami, and Preity Mukhundhan in key roles, the film has maintained a presence in cinemas since its release on May 28, 2026, and has now crossed the ₹70 crore mark worldwide.

According to estimates from box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast collected approximately ₹0.74 crore net in India on its 21st day in theatres. The latest figures take the film's cumulative India net collection to ₹49.20 crore. Its India gross earnings have reached around ₹56.55 crore.

The film has also contributed steady numbers from international territories during its theatrical run. Overseas collections currently stand at approximately ₹14.05 crore gross. Combining domestic and overseas revenue, Blast has accumulated a worldwide gross collection of about ₹70.60 crore after 21 days.

Directed by Subash K. Raj in his feature directorial debut and backed by AGS Entertainment, Blast opened with modest numbers before witnessing growth during its opening weekend. The film collected ₹25.78 crore net during its first week and followed it up with a second-week total of ₹14.66 crore. While collections have naturally slowed during the third week, the film continues to add to its cumulative total.

The third weekend once again provided a boost to business. After collecting ₹1.30 crore on its third Friday, the film recorded improved numbers over Saturday and Sunday, earning ₹2.26 crore and ₹2.65 crore respectively. However, weekday collections declined thereafter, with Day 21 bringing in ₹0.74 crore.

Tamil remains the film's primary market. On Day 21, the Tamil version contributed approximately ₹0.64 crore net from more than 1,500 shows, while the Telugu version added around ₹0.10 crore. Occupancy levels remained largely in line with the film's recent weekday trend.

Blast Story, Cast and Crew

The story of Blast revolves around Rajaram, a karate practitioner whose quiet family life is disrupted after a confrontation with a powerful corporate-backed criminal network. As events escalate, Rajaram, along with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila, relies on their martial arts expertise to confront the threats surrounding them.

The film's cast includes Arjun, Preity Mukhundhan, Abhirami, John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, and Pawan Krishnaa. The project is written and directed by Subash K. Raj, while music has been composed by Ravi Basrur. Cinematography is handled by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.

With Day 22 now underway on June 18, attention will turn to whether Blast can sustain its run through another weekend and push its worldwide earnings beyond the ₹70 crore milestone in the coming days.
