Sing Geetham Story

Sing Geetham is an upcoming Telugu mystery comedy thriller film directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. The film stars Ayaan, Ahalya Bamroo, and Shalini Kondepudi in the lead roles, with Sivannarayana, Tulasi, Banerjee, Agu Stanley, and several other notable actors appearing in supporting roles. The music for the movie is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematography is handled by Ankur C, and the Production Design work is done by Aravind Mule. The film is produced by Nag Ashwin under the Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners.

Story

Pratap (Ayaan), who is unwillingly released from prison, is delighted to receive the documents for a few acres of land that his father had left in his name. Determined to claim his inheritance, he travels to Kuberapuram. Amidst the village’s eccentric people and unusual atmosphere, he meets Renu (Shalini), who is working with a Nairobi-based businessman on a gold mining project. Pratap is astonished to find that the villagers worship him like a deity. During his stay, he also becomes acquainted with Gowri (Ahalya), a woman deeply devoted to protecting a massive ancient tree that holds immense sentimental value for her.

However, Pratap and Renu eventually destroy the tree, believing it to be an obstacle to their mining operations. Heartbroken by the loss, Gowri questions and blames Kubera, the village deity. Enraged by her accusations, the deity places a curse upon the entire village.
