മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ ജീവചരിത്രം

കരുത്തുറ്റ ഒരുപിടി മികച്ച കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മനസ്സില്‍ ഇടം നേടിയ ചലച്ചിത്ര നടിയാണ്‌ മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ. സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭാസ കാലത്ത് തന്നെ പ്രതിഭ തെളിയിച്ച മഞ്ജു രണ്ട് വർഷം തുടർച്ചയായി കേരള സംസ്ഥാന സ്കൂൾ യുവജനോത്സവത്തിൽ കലാതിലകമായിരുന്നു. സാക്ഷ്യം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ബാലതാരമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു മഞ്ജുവിന്റെ അരങ്ങേറ്റം.പിന്നീട് 18-മത്തെ വയസ്സിൽ സല്ലാപം (1996) എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ നായികാ കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച് ശ്രദ്ധേയയായി.

തുടർന്ന് 20-ഓളം മലയാള സിനിമകളിൽ ഒട്ടേറെ നായിക വേഷങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു. 'ഈ പുഴയും കടന്ന്' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് മികച്ച അഭിനേത്രിക്കുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്ക്കാരവും, 'കണ്ണെഴുതി പൊട്ടൂം തൊട്ട്' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് ദേശീയ ജൂറിയുടെ പ്രത്യേക പരാമർശവും മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ സ്വന്തമാക്കി. 1998 ഒക്ടോബർ 20-ന് പ്രശസ്ത്ത നടൻ ദിലീപിനെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്ത മഞ്ജു അഭിനയ രംഗത്ത് നിന്നും പൂർണ്ണമായി വിട്ടു നിന്നു. പക്ഷേ 14 വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം 2012 ഒക്ടോബർ 24-ന് 'ഹൌ ഓൾഡ്‌ ആർ യു' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ മടങ്ങിയെത്തി.

തുടർന്ന് എന്നും എപ്പോഴും,ജോ ആൻഡ്‌ ദി ബോയ്‌,കരിങ്കുന്നം സിക്സസ്,കെയർ ഓഫ് സൈറാബാനു,ഉദാഹരണം സുജാത, ഒടിയന്‍, അസുരന്‍,ലൂസിഫര്‍,മരക്കാര്‍- അറബിക്കടലിന്റെ സിംഹം, പ്രതി പൂവൻകോഴി എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിരവധി ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചു.
