ജീവചരിത്രം

പ്രശസ്ത ചലച്ചിത്ര നടിയാണ് വിജയശാന്തി.1979ലാണ് ചലച്ചിത്ര ജീവിതം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.15ാംമത്തെ വയസ്സില്‍ കള്ളൂക്കള്‍ ഏരം എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ചലച്ചിത്രരംഗത്തേക്കു കടന്നുവന്നു.ആ വര്‍ഷം തന്നെ തെലുഗു ചിത്രമായ കിലാഡി കൃഷ്ണുഡു എന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചു.ആദ്യകാലങ്ങളില്‍ ഗ്ലാമര്‍ വേഷങ്ങളിലാണ് അഭിനയിച്ചത്.മലയാളം,തമിഴ്,തെലുഗു,ഹിന്ദി,കന്നട എന്നീ ഭാഷകളിലായി നിരവധി ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.1990ല്‍ കര്‍ത്തവ്യം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ പോലീസ് വേഷത്തിന് ദേശീയ ചലചിത്ര പുരസ്‌ക്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.1997ല്‍ ഭാരതീയ ജനത പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലൂടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതവും ആരംഭിച്ചു.
