ഗിറ്റാറിസ്റ്റ്, സംഗീത രചയിതാവ്, നിര്മ്മതാവ് എന്നീ രംഗത്തില് പ്രശസ്തനാണ് റെക്സ് വിജയന്. അവിയല് എന്ന മ്യൂസിക് ബാന്റിലെ ഗിറ്റാറിസ്റ്റാണ് റെക്സ്. കേരള കഫേ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയായിരുന്നു സിനിമയില് ആദ്യമായി സംഗീതം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്ര സംഗീത സംവിധായകന് ആല്ബ്രട്ട് വിജയന്റെ മകനാണ്. കൊല്ലമാണ് സ്വദേശം. 2008 ല് ചിന് റ്റൂ എന്ന യുവതിയെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു.
