ചലച്ചിത്ര- ടെലിവിഷന് സീരിയല് സംവിധായകനാണ് സജി സുരേന്ദ്രന്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ നെടുമങ്ങാടാണ് സ്വദേശം.ലൂര്ദ്സ് മൗണ്ട് സ്കൂള്, മഹാത്മാഗാന്ധി കോളേജ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് പഠിച്ചത്.കോളേജ് കാലത്തുതന്നെ തന്നെ ടി.വി. പരമ്പരകളില് അഭിനയിക്കുകയും സഹസംവിധായകനായി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് മാനസം, മേഘം, ആലിപ്പഴം, മന്ദാരം, അമ്മയ്ക്കായ് തുടങ്ങിയ പരമ്പരകള് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു.2009ല് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഇവര് വിവാഹിതരായാല് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് ചലച്ചിത്ര രംഗത്തേക്ക് കടന്നുവരുന്നത്.അതിന് ശേഷം ഹാപ്പി ഹസ്ബന്റ്സ്, ഫോര് ഫ്രണ്ട്സ്, കുഞ്ഞളിയന് എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങള് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു.
