പ്രശസ്ത മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്ര താരമാണ് കാവ്യമാധവന്. പി. മാധവന്, ശ്യാമള എന്നിവരുടെ മകളായി 1984 സെപ്തംബര് 19ന് ജനിച്ചു.കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ നീലേശ്വരമാണ് സ്വദേശം. നീലേശ്വരം ജി.എല്.പി. സ്കൂള്, രാജാസ് ഹൈസ്കൂള് എന്നിവടങ്ങളില് നിന്നും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കി.ചെറുപ്പത്തില് തന്നെ കലയോട് താല്പര്യം കാണിച്ചിരുന്നു. വര്ഷങ്ങളോളം കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ കലാതിലകമായിരുന്നു. ബാലതാരമായ് സിനിമയില് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ച കാവ്യ 'പൂക്കാലം വരവായ്' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ആദ്യം അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത്. അതിനു ശേഷം മമ്മൂട്ടി നായകനായി 1996ല് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അഴകിയ രാവണന് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തില് കാവ്യ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച അനുരാധയുടെ ചെറുപ്പകാലം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപെട്ടു.'ചന്ദ്രനുദിക്കുന്ന ദിക്കില്' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ആദ്യം നായികയായി വേഷമിട്ടത്. 2009 ഫെബ്രുവരി 5ന് കാവ്യയും നാഷനല് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് കുവൈറ്റില് സാങ്കേതിക ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായ നിഷാല്ചന്ദ്രയുമായി വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല് ആ ദാമ്പത്യം അധികനാള് നീണ്ടു നിന്നില്ല.രണ്ടു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു ശേഷം 2011 മേയ് മാസത്തില് നിഷാല്ചന്ദ്രയുമായുള്ള വിവാഹബന്ധം വേര്പെടുത്തി.തുടര്ന്ന 2016 നവംമ്പര് 25ന് ചലച്ചിത്രതാരം ദിലീപിനെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു.
