പ്രശസ്ത മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകനാണ് മുരളി നാഗവള്ളി. ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ രാമങ്കരി സ്വദേശി.പ്രിയദര്‍ശന്‍,വേണു നാഗവള്ളി എന്നിവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം സഹസംവിധായകനായി ഏറെക്കാലം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രിയദര്‍ശനൊപ്പം അദൈ്വതം,വിരാസത്ത്,കിളിച്ചുണ്ടന്‍ മാമ്പഴം,ഗര്‍ദിഷ്,കാക്കകുഴില്‍,കഭി ന കഭി എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ അസോസിയേറ്റ് സംവിധായകനായിരുന്നു. സര്‍വകലാശാല എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണഅ വേണു നാഗവള്ളിക്കൊപ്പം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത്. മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ നായകനായി എത്തിയ അലക്‌സാണ്ടര്‍ ദി ഗ്രേറ്റ്,വാണ്ടഡ് എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ സംവിധായകനാണ്.
